When I moved to Maui, I never expected how much I’d miss having my professional network close by. Working from home felt isolating, and I needed opportunities to get out of the house and meet people. As a business owner and marketer on Maui, I was searching for ways to connect with other business owners and professionals, build relationships, and get to know my community.
The issue was that there was no single, comprehensive guide to show what groups or events were available on the island.
If I wanted to find my professional community here, I’d have to do the work myself. That’s just what I did. Through research, conversation, and attending events, I started to get a sense of the networking opportunities that were available to me here.
If you’re looking for networking groups in Maui, whether you're an entrepreneur, small business owner, freelancer, nonprofit leader, or corporate professional, here’s a growing list of organizations, coworking communities, chambers, and events worth exploring.
I’d love to keep building this list, so if you know of a group I should include, reach out at mikaela@hellobrilliantmarketing.com.
Are there even networking groups on Maui?
Yes, but networking on Maui is less about collecting business cards and more about building authentic relationships over time.
Relationships matter here.
Business often grows through trust, referrals, reputation, and long-term community connection. That means showing up consistently matters.
Networking groups can sometimes be hard to find, but they do exist, and there are more opportunities than many people realize.
